RN Concurrent Review Case Manager

Position Summary: RN Concurrent Review Case Manager will Review inpatient admissions to assure appropriate level of care and medical necessity. Onsite Telephonic Position.
RN Concurrent Review Case Manager Position Responsibilities:
- Review admissions through telephonic review to ensure medical necessity and appropriate level of care.
- Review and audit patient charts
- Act as clinical resources to referral staff and make appropriate referrals.
- Provide patient and provider education.
- Data enters assessments, authorizations and reviews into the system.
Hours for this Position: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Required Skills
What We Look For:
-Must Be a Registered Nurse
–Concurrent Review experience is Preferred
-Interqual or Milliman experience is Preferred
-Utilization Review experience is Preferred
BEST Candidate:
Would have worked as a Managed Care Case Manager in Concurrent Review
2nd Best: Would have a hospital background (Acute Care)
