Position Summary:
The pharmacy technician position will be completing data entry of prescriptions filled out by the MDO, enter all patient history, verify all information is complete and correct, and follow all regulations and guidelines of company.
Hours for this Position:
Monday – Friday 9:30am-6:00pm

Responsibilities
Company Job Description/Day to Day Duties:
Data entry of prescriptions filled out by the MDO into the patient’s profile. Enter patient’s allergies and current medications into the patient profile history. Verifies all information is complete on the Rx and all necessary information is entered on the patient’s profile. Follows all necessary guidelines to ensure laws and regulations are followed. Vary work duties according to business needs.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team goal.
Solid math skills; ability to perform necessary calculations independently.
Solid computer background is a must.
Able to work in multiple windows based platforms.
Ability to utilize dual monitor work setup.
Ability to make independent decisions and use professional judgment in a variety of circumstances.
Strong background in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to work with Excel macros a plus.
Able to work in a professional environment and adhere to company policies regarding attendance, punctuality, dress code, and overall professionalism.
