Remote DRG Auditor
Schedule: Fully remote, Monday–Friday, daytime hours, multiple shift options
Location: Any U.S. time zone
HealthCare Support is partnering with a leading payment integrity organization to hire an experienced DRG Auditor. You will validate inpatient DRGs and coding accuracy to support correct reimbursement and compliance.
What you’ll do as Remote DRG Auditor

Review inpatient medical records to confirm DRG and ICD-10-CM/PCS accuracy and clinical support

Identify and report coding or documentation discrepancies in line with billing and regulatory standards

Apply clinical judgment and pharmacology knowledge to assess diagnoses, treatments, and procedures

Use encoder and grouper tools to complete reviews efficiently
What you’ll bring as a Remote DRG Auditor
-
Proven DRG validation experience for inpatient stays, with Medicare/CMS knowledge

Proficiency with encoders and groupers
-
One of the following active credentials: RN, LPN/LVN, CCS, or CIC
