Remote Register Nurse DRG Auditor & Clinical Trainer
Schedule: Fully remote, Monday–Friday, daytime hours, multiple shift options
Location: Any U.S. time zone, Candidates must be willing to travel to New York twice a year to be considered for the position
HealthCare Support is partnering with a leading healthcare organization to hire an experienced Register Nurse DRG Auditor & Clinical Trainer.
What you’ll do as Register Nurse DRG Auditor & Clinical Trainer

Responsible for developing, conducting, administering, and analyzing clinical coding training and auditing programs

The Senior Clinical Coding Auditor & Trainer will conduct audits of inpatient coding processes
- Develop and maintain complex audit processes and audit tools related to inpatient coding
What you’ll bring as a Register Nurse DRG Auditor & Clinical Trainer
- Must be actively and unrestricted licensed/certified and as a RN
- Valid/current CPC, CIC, or CCS Certification
- Must have at least 3 years of DRG validation experience for inpatient stays with Medicare, CMS, ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS
- Experience in managed care – can be as a Coder or Nurse
- 1+ year of clinical experience in a hospital setting
- ASN or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Compensation
- $115K – $120K per year
