Credentialing Coordinator
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to fill an opening in (Remote).
Pay Details: $ 28 to $ 30 per hour
Shift Details: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm or 8:30am – 5:30pm
Daily Responsibilities for Credentialing Coordinator:
- Process a minimum of 10 each day, depending on licenses to process, can be up to 20 per day
- Emphasis is experience on initial state licensing apps, renewals, ensuring licenses don’t expire, BLS and CPR in all 50 states. Most of the apps are RNs
- Types of providers being credentialed: MD, BP, RN, Dieticians, pharmacists’ social workers, patient health advocates (LPN), 1 Physical Therapist, Pharmacy Techs .
Required Qualifications for Credentialing Coordinator:
- Associate’s degree in healthcare or business administration.
- 4+ years of credentialing experience with hospital or physician practice medical staff, and/or 4 years’ experience in a medical practice business office role.
- Experience with submitting applications for State, Federal, and Health Plan credentials.
Preferred Qualifications for Credentialing Coordinator:
- NAMSS Certification as a Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) or Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS).
- Credential platform MDStaff (experience a plus)
