Patient Access Specialist
HealthCare Support is actively seeking multiple Onsite Patient Access Specialist to fill a new hire class with our prestigious healthcare client in Orlando, FL 32819.
Will be onsite a minimum of 120 days. After that time, their overall performance, including attendance and program knowledge, will be assessed to determine if they are eligible for a hybrid schedule (3 days at home, 2 days in office)
Daily Responsibilities for Patient Access Specialist:
- The purpose of this position is to help patients get access to the medications and therapies that they need.
- This role works directly with healthcare providers & insurance plans/payers to gather information about a patient’s insurance and the coverage provided for a specific pharmaceutical product.
- The Patient Access Specialist will support the healthcare providers addressing questions regarding coding and billing and navigating complex reimbursement issues.
Required Qualifications for Patient Access Specialist:
- 1-2 years of experience communicating with healthcare professionals and field support staff
- Strong accurate data entry skills
Preferred Qualifications for Patient Access Specialist:
- Experience working with databases (CRM preferable) or a tracking system; Salesforce CRM experience
- Experience working in a health care/pharmaceutical industry environment
- Understanding of challenges associated with patients’ medical condition

Pay Details: $21.00 to $21.00 an hour
