Pharmacy Technician
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill in an opening in Woodridge, Illinois.
Pay Details: $ 24.51 per hour
Shift Details: Monday – Friday 8:30AM -5PM
Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician:
- Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares IVs.
- Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment.
- Assists Pharmacy Management in maintaining good inventory practices which may include receiving and rotating incoming medications and supplies, posting lot numbers, expiration dates and assisting in physical inventory.
Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician:
- Must be a certified pharmacy technician.
- Proficient in a sterile iv compounding space
- Able to quickly and efficiently compound iv antibiotics and TPN.
