Pharmacy Technician
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill in an opening in Centennial, Colorado.
Pay Details: $ 24.51 per hour
Shift Details: Mon-Fri 8:30am – 6:30pm
Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician:
- Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, fills prescriptions and prepares IVs.
- Works with Billing Supervisor to enter data into computer system to fill prescriptions and to obtain reimbursement payment.
- Assists the Pharmacist in final checking of filled prescriptions, which may include stating the medication for RPh final review and/or packaging of medication post RPh final review and coordinating accurate and timely delivery to the customer.
Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician:
- Pharmacy Technician certification or willing to train under a DORA Provisional License.
- Bilingual English/Spanish (reading, writing, speaking – experience with medical terms is required)
- 2+ years of experience handling and processing referrals
