HealthCare Support is currently interviewing for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographers to join a leading healthcare network in the Southern, CO region. Pay Details: 

  • $38.72 – $58.08 hourly

Required Qualifications for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Registered in one or more of the following:
  • RDMS (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
  • RVT (Vascular Technologist)
  • RDCS (Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) via ARDMS
  • Certified in Sonography (S) via ARRT
  •  Some locations require no experience

    Daily Responsibilities for the Diagnostic Medical Sonographer:

  • Perform sonography according to scope of practice and organizational standards
  • Review patient history, orders, and schedule; educate patients about procedures
  • Prepare and administer contrast media/medications when ordered (within scope)
  • Monitor patient condition and report changes as needed
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform quality checks
  • Position patients and conduct imaging procedures
  • Analyze imaging results, ensure quality, and take corrective action as needed
  • Document and report findings accurately
