Freestanding Emergency Room RN
HealthCare Support is currently seeking a Freestanding Emergency Room RN to join a well-regarded healthcare facility in Tallahassee, FL. This employer is recognized for its excellence in Orthopedic Surgery, Joint Replacement, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and Gynecologic Surgery. These fast-paced environments are perfect for experienced ED RNs who thrive in critical care and emergent patient situations.
SIGN ON BONUS: up to $15,000
Pay Details:
- $29.82 – $42.60 hourly
Schedule:
- 3 x 12s with rotating weekends
- Days and mixed open
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Required Qualifications for Freestanding Emergency Room RN:
- Florida RN license (if compact, active FL license w/in 90 days)
- 1+ year of ER experience

Daily Responsibilities for Freestanding Emergency Room RN:

Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages with acute and emergent conditions

Perform rapid assessments and initiate stabilization, including IV therapy, medications, and advanced life support

Respond to code blues, rapid responses, and trauma activations

Collaborate with physicians and care teams to manage high-acuity, fast-changing patient needs

Develop individualized care plans, provide follow-up instructions, and make necessary referrals
- Prioritize multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining patient safety and quality care
