Are you an experienced Medicaid Eligibility Specialist looking for a new opportunity with a prestigious healthcare company in Daytona Beach, FL?
Daily Responsibilities of the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist:
- Visit patients in the hospital & bedside to pre-screen for qualifying criteria of various Federal & State Medicaid/Social Security Administration (SSA) & County / HCRA programs
- Maintain ongoing communication with various agencies throughout the application process
- Documentation/other paperwork as well as computerized record keeping
Requirements for the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience with Medicaid Prequalification
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Strong typing, communication, and documentation skills
- Able to engage with patients, nurses, and providers
- No visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair colors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Hours for the Medicaid Eligibility Specialist:
- Mon – Fri 8am-5pm
