Long Term Care Pharmacist
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Long-Term Care Pharmacist to fill an opening in Lenexa, Kansas.
Pay Details: $ 60 to $ 63 per hour
Shift Details:
- Monday to Friday 3PM – 11:30PM
- Rotating day shift 7AM – 3:30PM, 10AM – 6:30PM with rotating weekends
Daily Responsibilities for Long Term Care Pharmacist:
- Review prescriptions issued by physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed
- Compounds sterile and non-sterile medications, using standard formulas and processes, such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients
- Direct other pharmacy employees engaged in mixing, packaging, labeling and changing to prescription orders
Required Qualifications for Long Term Care Pharmacist:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an accredited college or school of Pharmacy
- Clear and Valid Pharmacist License in KS
- 1+ year of long-term care experience as a Licensed Pharmacist
Preferred Qualifications for Long Term Care Pharmacist
- Supervisory experience
- Framework experience
