Revenue Cycle Customer Service Representative
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Revenue Cycle Customer Service Representative to fill an opening with one of the largest Primary Care practices in Fort Myers, FL!
Daily Responsibilities for Revenue Cycle Customer Service Rep:
- Ensure timely reprocessing of Athena claims by updating accounts with new information from patients or physicians, adhering to the guidelines and timeframes set by the insurance carrier
- Thoroughly knowledgeable in all HIPAA guidelines to safeguard patient information from unauthorized access
- Process and post payments to accounts on the same day they are received
Required Qualifications for Revenue Cycle Customer Service Rep:
- HS Diploma or GED
- 6+ months of Medical Billing experience (reviewing claims rejections, appeals, resubmitting claims for approval)
- Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial Insurance experience
- CPT knowledge
Preferred Qualifications for Revenue Cycle Customer Service Rep:
- Athena EMR experience
- XIFIN billing system
- Associates in related field
