Remote Provider Service Advocate

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Remote Provider Service Advocate to fill an opening with a Fortune top 25 Managed Care Company in Ohio.

Daily Responsibilities for Remote Provider Service Advocate:

  • Monday – Friday (Overtime may be required as needed)
    Training is 8-5, after training will be on the 11:30am – 8:00pm shift (30 minute lunch)
  • Answer incoming healthcare contact center calls from providers of the health plan and route appropriately to clinical staff
  • Gather and verify demographic information and document calls using standard computer software and systems
  • Use tools and apply problem-solving skills to identify immediate caller needs, including potential crisis calls; escalate crisis calls according to standard operating procedures
  • Use verbal communication strategies to effectively elicit information, gain confidence from caller and provide reassurance
  • Answer inbound call and make outbound calls according to department policies and procedures

Required Qualifications for Remote Provider Service Advocate:

  • MUST be located in Ohio.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Medicaid experience
  • 1+ year of Managed Care or provider billing experience (not scheduler or front office)
  • No time off within the first 90 days, training time is crucial

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 an hour
