Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment to fill an opening with a Fortune 500 company in Pittsburgh PA.

Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment:

• Provides assistance in the preparation and distribution of drug products. 
• Prepare the prescription medications via use of the fulfillment system.

• Handles patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enters refill orders for processing.
• Troubleshoots to obtain missing prescription information, and interprets medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
• Resolves all data entry related exceptions.
• Run automated machinery, sort medications, transition inventory through different workflow stages with a focus on quality control.
• Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack and ship.
• Clean and help maintain machinery and maintain an orderly work area.
• Resolves Third Party Rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
• Provides assistance to Pharmacists, both those in the facility and those at other locations.
• Identifies and communicates issues to senior level staff as appropriate.

Shift:
Shift A Monday – Thursday 11:30 AM -5:00 PM , Fridays 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Shift B Monday – Thursday 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM , Fridays 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Shift C Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills, typing speed of 35 WPM
• Minimum 3 months of pharmacy tech experience
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk around facility
• Ability to regularly lift 25-50 lbs

Pay Details: $18 – $18 an hour
