Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment – Shift 1
Pharmacy Technician
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Technician to fill an opening with a Fortune 500 company in Mechanicsville, VA.
Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician:
- Responsible for providing order processing support for fulfillment and/or help in the preparation and distribution of prescription medication via the use of the fulfillment system.
- Follows standard operating procedures and performs duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
- Develops and maintains proficiency in all medication dispensing areas and workstations
- Prepares bulk medication for loading into automated dispensing system.
- Performs manual packing duties including, but not limited to, packing and shipping, completing orders, verifying accuracy based on conformance to quality standards/specifications and preparing packages for mail.
- Affixes labels to the appropriate containers, conducts cycle counts and put away.
- Resolves order delay reporting as well as upgrade, expedite and cancels orders.
- May also be responsible for stocking non-pharmaceutical products.
- 5am – 3pm OR 3:30pm – 11:30pm
Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Clear and Active Virginia Pharmacy Technician license and National Certification (PTCB)
- 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds in a repetitive motion
- Basic computer knowledge

Pay Details: $17.50 an hour
