Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment to fill an opening with one of the major American pharmacy chains in the US located in Mechanicsville VA.

Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment:

• The Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment is responsible for providing order processing support for fulfillment and/or provide assistance in the preparation and distribution of prescription medication via the use of the fulfillment system. Follows standard operating procedures and performs duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures
• Develops and maintains proficiency in all medication dispensing areas and workstations
• Prepares bulk medication for loading into automated dispensing system
• Performs manual packing duties including, but not limited to, packing and shipping, completing orders, verifying accuracy based on conformance to quality standards/specifications and preparing packages for mail
• Affixes labels to the appropriate containers.
• Conducts cycle counts and put away
• Resolves order delay reporting as well as upgrade, expedite and cancels orders
• May also be responsible for stocking non-pharmaceutical products
• Other responsibilities as judgement or necessity dictate
• Shifts available are Sunday – Wednesday 5am – 3pm and Wednesday – Saturday, 5am – 3pm

Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment:

• Active Virginia state license *will accept trainee license
• prefer National Certification (in addition to state license)
• 1-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• High School Diploma / GED
• Basic knowledge of and skills using MS Windows, MS Office Suite and/or other similar operating/software programs
• Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communication in a diplomatic and confidential manner
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a repetitive motion

Pay Details: $17.50 per Hour
