Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment – 2nd Shift
HealthCare Support is actively seeking an Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment – 2nd Shift to fill an opening in Oviedo, FL.
Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment – 2nd Shift:
- Dispense any or all of the following: tablets/capsules, unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures
- Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies and patient collateral (education materials) are included
- Perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units
- Calibration – focus on automatic dispenser machine maintenance. Tech will mainly work with equipment – testing machines, cleaning the machines, making sure the counts (30, 60, 90) are working, replacing parts, calibration, and lifting over 50 lbs.
- Sunday- Thursday 3pm-11:30pm
Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment – 2nd Shift:
- Clear and active Florida Pharmacy Tech License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting or mail order pharmacy
- Comfortable working in warehouse environment
- Ability to stand for the full shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (not that all medication is this but Metformin cases are pretty heavy) and bending up and down throughout the shift
- This is a physical position – NOT a desk job. You will be on your feet, lifting boxes, and moving around a lot
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stay focused on a single task to follow through to completion
- Takes initiative
- Quality performer – no room for errors
- Must have good attendance
- Looking for long term / people that want to stay with Optum long term and grow within the company
Preferred Qualifications for Pharmacy Tech Fulfillment – 2nd Shift:
- Previous Pharmacy Technician experience

Pay Details: $19.50 – $21 an hour
