Pharmacy Tech

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacy Tech to fill an opening in Cumberland, RI.

Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacy Tech:
This position takes in-coming calls from members, providers, etc providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process.
Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfers all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.

Duties:
•   On-Site
•   Building strong relationships with patients
•   Inbound and Outbound Calls to patients and prescribers
•   Scheduling of patient medication deliveries
•   Data Entry

Hours: 9am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri for 2-3 weeks training then 9:30a-6p

Required Qualifications for Pharmacy Tech:
•   Verifiable HS diploma/ GED
•   RI Pharmacy Tech license
•   *At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function.
•   *Advanced computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization
•   *Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must.

Pay Details: $20/hour – $20/hour
