HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist – Specialty Pharmacy to fill an opening with a Specialty Pharmacy in Florida, Texas, and Missouri
Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacist – Specialty Pharmacy:
- Develop clinical criteria for medications, recommend plan design changes, and clinical programs to be initiated
- Monitor prior authorization requests
- Provide clinical support to internal departments and address clinical related questions
- Ensure appropriate quality controls and initiates opportunities for performance improvement in pharmacy/practice
- Develop and implement programs designed to impact DUR for both Medicaid and Medicare
- Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for the pharmacy department
- Participate in the coordination of the Medicare MTM program
- Assist case management team with members including clinical rounds presentations
- This will be 3 months Contract (with potential to extend) and schedule is Monday to Friday, any shift between 8AM-6PM Central Time.
Required Qualifications for Pharmacist – Specialty Pharmacy:
- Pharmacist License in state they reside in (FL, MO, or TX)
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (PharmD is highly preferred)
- 5+ years of experience as a pharmacist
- 2+ years of mail order specialty pharmacy experience
- Experience with IVIG, home infusion, and/or hemophilia experience is required
- Experience with infusion pumps and supplies
Preferred Qualifications for Pharmacist – Specialty Pharmacy:
- IGNS IgCP certification (Immunoglobulin Certified Pharmacist)

Pay Details: $70 – $73 /Hour
