HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist to fill an opening in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Pay Details: $ 62.66 per hour
Shift Details: Monday – Friday 9am-530pm
Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacist:
- Accept and dispense prescription medications; monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns; ensure that the supply of medicines complies within the law; verify that prescribed medicines are suitable for patients; accurately maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files; advise patients on medication usage, potential reactions, and address their questions.
- Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications for storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions; offer services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management; educate patients on proper handling of medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters; and compound medications for external or internal use.
- Supervise pharmacy staff, maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies, and identify and communicate drug-related problems with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
Required Qualifications for Pharmacist:
- Must have MO Rph license
- Pharm D at least 1 year experience in LTC preferred
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree required
