Pharmacist

Pharmacist – Bethlehem, PA

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist to fill an opening with one of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations.

Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacist: 

• Multiple Shift options including, Day shift, Mid Shift and 7 on and  7 off
• Closed door LTC pharmacy
• Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and route of administration.
• Make recommendations for therapy changes to the physician and facility staff as appropriate.
• Maintains patient/resident database to include appropriate current and past medical history, appropriate clinical and laboratory data, and concurrent medication (including over the counter and home remedies)
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed

Required Qualifications for Pharmacist: 

• Bachelor’s Degree/Pharm D in Pharmacy
• Clear and Active Pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania
• 1+ year of experience as a Pharmacist

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pharm D
• Long Term Care Experience
• Retail Experience
• Framework LTC and DocuTrack

Pay Details: Up to $62/hr – $68+/hr
