Patient Access Representative II
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Patient Access Representative II to fill an opening with a healthcare company in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant:
- Responsible for duties in support of departmental efficiencies which may include: but not limited to performing scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission and admission, reception and discharge functions
- May experience extreme patient volumes and uncooperative Patients, Greeting customers
- Completes full patient registration at date of service, adheres to financial and cash control policies and procedures
- Thoroughly explains and secures Hospital & patient legal forms (i.e., Advance Directives, Conditions of services, Consent for treatment, Important Message from Medicare, etc.
- Scan Protected Health Information, create and file patient information packets/folders for upcoming Hospital services
- 4×12 Sunday to Wednesday 5pm to 5am/Onsite
Required Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
- 6 months of customer service, healthcare preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to type at least 35 WPM
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
- eCW experience

Pay Details: $18.00 an hour – $18.00 an hour
