HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Patient Access Rep to fill an opening in Lebanon, NH.

Daily Responsibilities for Patient Access Rep:

  • Secures medical necessity checks/verification in accordance to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid services, verifies insurance, benefits, coverage & eligibility, completes assigned registration financial clearance work lists activities, obtains insurance authorizations for scheduled & unscheduled Hospital services, and secures inpatient visit notification to payors
  • Completes full patient registration at date of service, thoroughly explains and secures Hospital & patient legal forms (i.e., Advance Directives, Conditions of services, Consent for treatment, Important Message from Medicare, EMTALA, etc.)
  • Scan Protected Health Information, create and file patient information packets/folders for upcoming Hospital services
  • May also assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures (enters data in scheduling system, provide customer with appointment instructions, other tasks as needed)
  • Educates patients about patient financial liabilities and performs hospital cash reconciliation & secured payment
  • Multiple shifts available:
  • Monday-Friday 5:30am-2:00pm, 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Wed-Sat 6:00am-6:00pm, 9am-9pm or 7:30am-6:00pm

Required Qualifications for Patient Access Rep:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of Medical Receptionist, Healthcare Call Center CSR or something similar would work

Pay Details: $18.5/hour
