HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Part Time Float Pharmacist to fill an opening with a Healthcare Company between Spokane and Spokane Valley, Washington.
Daily Responsibilities for Part Time Float Pharmacist:

  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist will engage customers seeking guidance on pharmacological and non-pharmacological options for health condition management using provided clinical tools, and delivering information based on customer-preferred communication method
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist will provide clinical pharmacy services based on state regulations, including, but not limited to, adherence support,  immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), point-of-care testing (POCT), diagnostic testing, and prescriptive authority to improve patient therapeutic outcomes
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist will leverage products and services to benefit the customer and build profitable retail business and script growth
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist will ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled, by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, applicable to DEA, State and Federal Board of Pharmacy regulations
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist will provide appropriate patient care with in-person, telephonic or digital means, collaborating with providers and  patient care teams focused on patient health, and wellness outcomes.
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist will assist the Pharmacy Manager with the supervision of the pharmacy by providing leadership to the pharmacy  associates and supervise the completion of their training, provide coaching, and performance feedback
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist will handle and resolve customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist will complete company required certifications, education and training. These requirements include but are not limited to Whole Being Health including traditional medicine and holistic wellness and alternative therapies, support for clinical service activities, training for regulatory requirements.
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist  will maintain appropriate security of the Pharmacy department. Ensure that Standard Work is followed for performing activities or processes.
  • The Part Time Float Pharmacist’s standard work documentation contains instructions, useful graphics, and must be followed to ensure that work is done consistently no matter who does it.
  • This will be a contract setup (13 weeks with potential for extension)
  • Shift: day shift, must be available any day (including weekends) to work shift between 7:00am-9:00p (must be able to meet guarantee of 32 hours a week), meal break is 30 minutes. Shifts will be 12 hours or less
  • This is an onsite position between Spokane and Spokane Valley, WA

Required Qualifications for Part Time Float Pharmacist:

  • Pharmacist License in Washington
  • CPR and AED Basic Life Support Certificate
  • 1+ years of pharmacy experience, prefer retail
  • Immunization Certification
  • Must be a 20 Hour APhA Pharmacy based Immunization Delivery Program accredited certification
  • Immunization State Endorsement and License if applicable for the state you will be working in.
  • Physically able to be on feet all day
     

  • Preferred but Not Required:
    • Pharm D

Pay Details: $60.00/hour – $72.00/hour
