Nurse Practitioner – Nephrology
Nurse Practitioner – Cookeville, TN
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill an opening with a leading Nephrology Clinic in the Cookeville, TN area.
Daily Responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioner:
- Provide nephrology clinic visits and dialysis rounds
- Recommends options and courses of action for patient care
- Implements physician directives
- Interpret and assess patient data to plan for patient treatment and management
- Provide guidance and instructions regarding medical care to patients
- Assesses patient health by interviewing patients and performing physical examination (including obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories)
- Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic test, such as X-rays and laboratory studies and by interpreting test results
- SHIFT: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Must be willing to participate in weekend on call at the hospital once a month
Required Qualifications for the Nurse Practitioner:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Tennessee
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner in nephrology, primary care or internal medicine
- Current BLS certification
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Pay Details: $120k – 130k/yr
