Nurse Practitioner
Nurse Practitioner – Bellingham, WA
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill a job opening. This role’s location is in Bellingham, WA area (visiting up to 20 homes in Whatcom, Snohomish and Skagit Counties)
Daily Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, patient facing
- Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation, including ICD 10 conditions.
- Communicate and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Conduct advanced illness and advanced care planning conversations
- Provide patients and caregivers with counseling and education
- The shifts for the position: Monay to Friday, 8am to 5pm
- This is a 4+ month contract position, due to understaffing in the area (possible perm potential and extensions of the contract)
Required Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner:
- Active and unrestricted NP license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of NP experience (Open to new grads if they have a LTC background as an RN)
- Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice program
- Board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Credentialing Center, with certification in one of the following:
- Family Nurse Practitioner
- Adult Nurse Practitioner
- Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
- COVID vaccination
- Active DEA certification

Pay: $80 to $95 an hour
