Nurse Practitioner
Family Nurse Practitioner – Float
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Float to fill a Primary Care Clinic opening with a Nationwide HealthCare Company in San Antonio, TX.
Daily Responsibilities for Nurse Practitioner:
- Evaluate primary care, acute, chronically ill, and transitional care patients, in addition to providing healthcare education and counseling, and disposition planning for our patients ranging in age 18 months and above
- Provide patient counseling; inclusive of pregnancy prevention, STI Prevention/safer sex practices, contraceptive care counseling and medication management
- 32-40 per week. Every other weekend required. M-F:830a-730p, Sa:9a-530p, Su:9a-530p
Required Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner:
- Graduate of an accredited Master of Science Nursing program
- DEA registration must be started at time of offer.
- Board Certified Family NP
- Licensed of the following states: TX
- Effectively manage acute and chronic medical and behavioral conditions
Preferred Qualifications for Nurse Practitioner:
- Doctor of Nursing Practice
- Meeting the medical needs of patients with complex behavioral, social and/or functional needs
- Understanding of Advanced Illness and end of life discussions

Pay Details: $75 – $76 an hour
