HealthCare Support is actively seeking a MRI Tech to fill an opening with a Fortune 100 major Healthcare organization in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Daily Responsibilities for MRI Tech:
- Responsible for performing MRI cross sectional imaging and other related procedures as directed by a licensed physician. Operates and monitors MRI equipment, program the machine to the proper voltage, current and desired exposure tie as dictated by physician.
- Explains testing procedures to patient. Positions and instruct the patient about the preparation for the MRI test. Assigns and/or delegates duties to the appropriate qualified and/or licensed technologist.
- Monitors the patient’s condition before and after scan to ensure patient safety and comfort. Administers contrast media accurately under direction of Radiologist both manually and with pressure injector.
- Schedule: Monday – Thursday 7am – 5pm
- Contract: 7 Week Contract
Required Qualifications for MRI Tech:
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent (Preferred – Bachelor of Science Degree)
- Current BLS Certification
- ARRT (MR) Certification

Pay Details: $48.00/hour (Fixed Rate)
