Certified Pharmacy Technician
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to fill an opening with one of the largest healthcare organizations in San Francisco, California.
Daily Responsibilities for Certified Pharmacy Technician:
• Communication with patients, prescribers, and colleagues
• Frequent phone conversations, emails, faxes
• Fulfillment of prescriptions, packaging medications for shipment, processing copays, researching financial as-sistance
• Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist
• Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and re-ports
• Work hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30AM-6PM
Required Qualifications for Certified Pharmacy Technician:
• Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
• CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required
• The national certificate, PTCB, can be left as a preferred but not required certificate
• At least 1 year experience as a pharmacy technician
• Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization
• Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must
• Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus

Pay Details: $21.00 – $23.00 an hour
