HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Chemotherapy Nurse Registered Nurse / RN to fill an opening in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Pay Details: $35 to $42 per hour
Shift Details: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Daily Responsibilities for Chemotherapy Nurse Registered Nurse / RN:
- The Chemotherapy Nurse is responsible for the safe mixing and delivery of chemo/immunotherapy infusions along with blood product transfusion
- Coordination of oncology and chemotherapy clinic visits including assessment of pre visit documentation and lab work, interpretation and implementation of therapeutic orders and arrangement of appropriate follow up appointments including referrals.
- Responsible for patient assessment for drug toxicities on a daily basis.
Required Qualifications for Chemotherapy Nurse Registered Nurse / RN:
- From the Director:
- BLS
- Chemo Cert – there are a few different ones out there besides OCN
Preferred Requirements for Chemotherapy Nurse Registered Nurse / RN:
- Bilingual (English Spanish)
- OCN Certification
