Chemotherapy Nurse Registered Nurse / RN
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Chemotherapy Nurse Registered Nurse / RN to fill an opening in Jupiter, Florida.
Pay Details: $ 44 to $ 48 per hour
Shift Details: Monday – Thursday 8AM- 5PM
Daily Responsibilities for Chemotherapy Nurse Registered Nurse / RN:
- The Chemotherapy Nurse is responsible for the safe mixing and delivery of chemo/immunotherapy infusions along with blood product transfusion
- Volume: Infusion nurse currently sees 20 patients/day over 2 days (40 total). This new hire will split that load across 5 days, which will ease demand and allow for support in the clinic (e.g., blood draws).
- Answers routine questions from patients, and family.
Required Qualifications for Chemotherapy Nurse Registered Nurse / RN:
- BLS
- Chemo Cert – there are a few different ones out there besides OCN
- Ability to assess patients via telephone and act accordingly.
Preferred Requirements for Chemotherapy Nurse Registered Nurse / RN:
- Bilingual (English Spanish)
- OCN Certification
