HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
to fill an opening with a large healthcare organization in Guilford, CT.
Daily Responsibilities for Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
- Prepare patients to be seen by clinician by collecting and recording clinical information.
- Document all patient interactions in the EHR
- Answer and document patient phone calls, take messages, route appropriately.
- Monitor tasks, follow up on overdue orders, enter results.
- Perform and run Point of care testing
- Other duties as assigned.
The work involves preparing patients for their visit with the provider. This includes but is no limited to bringing patients into the rooms, taking vitals, recording info in the electronic health record, conducting patient outreach, running POC tests, cleaning and stocking exam rooms
Shift start & end times: 8am -5:30pm *not exceeding 40 hours per week. So for example someone might do 8:30 to 5:30 with a ½ hour lunch, or 8:00 to 5:00 with a ½ hour lunch.
Work days per week: Monday – Friday
Required Qualifications for Certified or Registered Medical Assistant:
Type of certification required: We are looking for Medical Assistants who are either Registered or Certified.

Pay Details: $20.00 per hour – $23.00 per hour
