Healthcare Customer Service Advocate IOWA
HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Healthcare Customer Service Advocate to fill an opening with a Managed Care Organization in Iowa.
Daily Responsibilities for Healthcare Customer Service Advocate:
- Responsible for answering the inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Responsible for contacting doctors to obtain necessary prescription information to properly fill a prescription.
- Regular Shift: 9am-6pm CST with an hour break, or 9:30am-6pm CST with a half hour break.
- Remote position Must Live in IOWA
Required Qualifications for Healthcare Customer Service Advocate:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3+ years of customer service experience.
- This is a full function call center – must be comfortable with inbound calls, doing research after the call to help ensure the member’s needs are met and completed correctly, and documenting the call
- Strong typing skills 30 WPM + (must put on resume, no typing test required if they already know their speed)
- Good tenure and attendance in past positions (1+ year at most positions)
Preferred Qualifications for Healthcare Customer Service Advocate:
- Healthcare back office or MCO experience

Pay Details: $19.00/hour – 19.00/hour
