CV ICU Registered Nurse 

HealthCare Support is currently seeking a skilled CVICU Registered Nurse for a rewarding opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, FL.  Join a leading healthcare facility recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Cancer Care Center, offering advanced treatment for critically ill patients. DAYS SIGN ON BONUS: up to $10,000
NIGHTS SIGN ON BONUS: up to $15,000

Pay Details: 

• $27.72 – $39.60 hourly

Schedule:  

• 3 x 12s with rotating weekends 
• Days and nights open

Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL

Required Qualifications for CV ICU Registered Nurse: 

• Florida RN License (if compact, active FL license w/in 90 days) 

• 1+ year hospital experience

Daily Responsibilities for CV ICU Registered Nurse: 

• Manage post-op CVICU patients, including bypass, aortic valve, vascular surgery, TAVR, balloon pump, pacemakers/ICDs, pulmonary, tumor, and STEMI post-cath lab

• Provide telemetry monitoring and high-acuity assessments

• Night shift ratios: 1:1 within 6 hours post-op, otherwise 1:2

• Coordinate care and serve as advocate for patients, families, and caregivers

• Perform procedures, administer medications, and document care in the EMR

• Educate patients/families on medical conditions, treatments, and self-care

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
