HealthCare Support seeks a Field Pediatric RN Case Manager to fill an opening at a Fortune Top 25 Managed Care Company.
Daily Responsibilities for a Field Pediatric RN Case Manager
Conducts member outreach through phone calls and in-home visits to address care needs, including DME and waiver services. Manages a dynamic caseload of approximately 65 members, balancing field visits (quarterly) and telephonic follow-ups (monthly). Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams via Teams chat, bi-weekly meetings, and regular check-ins with leadership. Daily tasks vary based on member needs, requiring adaptability, timely follow-up, and coordination across departments.
Requirements
- 2+ years of peds experience, preferably working with children with disabilities and vulnerable population (this team works with children with special needs and with the IDD/Intellectual and Developmental Disability Waivers, conditions include ID, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, developmental delays, spina bifida, deaf or blind)
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience in a clinical, acute care, MCO, or community setting
- 1+ years of case management experience in a managed care setting (can be flexible on this but listed as required on the intake form)
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred
- Experience with medical decision support tools (i.e. InterQual, NCCN) and government-sponsored managed care programs
- Clear and active Texas RN license
- Clear and active driving record, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing

Location: Field role in the Lubbock/Amarillo area
Shift: M-F 8-5 (potential overtime or after-hours work)
Pay Details: $38-45
Length of Assignment: 6-month contract
