HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Receptionist to fill an opening with an Oncology clinic in Venice, FL.

Daily Responsibilities for Medical Receptionist:

  • Scheduling new and follow-up patient appointments
  • Greet and check in patients as they arrive, verify information, collect co-payments, verify demographic information, answer calls promptly and retrieve messages
  • Collect co-payments, assemble all new patient and hospital follow-up charts
  • Reviews schedule and checks for all tests and/or referrals ordered from doctor
  • Manage multiple phone lines
  • Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm/Onsite
     

Required Qualifications for Medical Receptionist:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid FL Driver License and own vehicle to drive between facilities
  • 2+ yrs. experience as a Medical Receptionist
  • The clinic requires nicotine test. Unfortunately, if you are a nicotine user, we won’t be able to proceed

Preferred Qualifications for Medical Receptionist:

  • Bilingual in Spanish

Pay Details: $18.00 – $21.70 an hour
