Position Summary for Marketing Writer – Digital Communications Writer / Editor : We’re seeking a dynamic Digital Communications Writer and Editor for a 6-18 month project, working 40 hours/week, onsite at client’s location. This is a critical position within the growing Digital Team, and the ideal candidate will have the rare opportunity to truly define and drive the direction of Frontier’s tone and voice across key digital channels, including web, email, mobile and social. The ideal candidate should have knowledge across the digital and online marketing ecosystem with a solid grasp of IT functionality within web infrastructure and interactive technology.  You are a strong communicator in both written and verbal areas and can captivate an audience with your articulate, creative presentation. (Health care and/or health care insurance experience a plus.) You’re in sync with cutting edge marketing technologies as well as the end user

Pay Range for Marketing Writer – Digital Communications Writer / Editor : $ 28.00- 32.00

Hours for this Position for Marketing Writer – Digital Communications Writer / Editor : 

Monday thru Friday 8-5pm

Required Skills

What We Look For in a Marketing Writer – Digital Communications Writer / Editor :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years of digital copywriting experience in a technical environment; telecommunications experience preferred
  • Ability to translate complex technical documentation into consumer-friendly language that drives action
  • Solid understanding of online user behavior and digital best practices, with demonstrated experience creating copy that is optimized for digital channels (web, mobile, email)
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and hands-on experience in writing for both users and search engines
  • Superior command of English language, grammar, spelling and usage
  • Critical attention to detail with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Writing samples and/or online portfolio required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, reliability and professional with attention to detail and rapid execution are essential.
  • Expected to handle multiple projects at once and be able to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities and comfortable taking direction but also managing upward.
  • Strategic thinker with broad perspective and, at the same time, demonstrates an acute attention to detail and ability to execute flawlessly.
  • Must be self-sufficient, able to prioritize and organize and possess a high level of time and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with aggressive deadlines with little direction is required.
  • Must possess a sense of urgency, be proactive and display confidence as project leader, demonstrating strong collaboration, flexibility and diplomacy skills.
  • Global minded and flexible approach: keeping all markets in mind when creating strategies and implementing initiatives.

Responsibilities

More Insight of Daily Responsibilities for Marketing Writer – Digital Communications Writer / Editor : 

  • Leads efforts to gather and understand business requirements and goals in order to develop/edit content and messaging strategy – from conceptual briefing to final copy and proofing
  • Leads discussions with business partners and project teams to identify and document a thorough understanding of business content requirements.
  • Writes and edits web content that meets project goals and end user needs for complex efforts.
  • Keeps abreast of and analyzes company, industry and regulatory changes in order to determine applicability.
  • Ensures online content complies with corporate brand standards, web style guide, legal and compliance.
  • Leads the development of content style guides, content and messaging strategies, best practices and processes.
  • Partners with other writers within team and other departments to leverage and share ideas and make recommendations that apply broadly across multiple channels.
  • Researches trends to recommend a variety of user experience and content design principles, best practices and procedures.
  • Create clear, SEO-rich product copy, meta tags, titles and page descriptions and leverage SEM keyword learning’s to enhance search visibility and grow organic traffic

Take proactive approach to improving existing copy and develop governance guidelines for ensuring maintenance, and removal of outdated content
