Daily Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be performing timely chart abstractions of medical records and preparing the data for presentation. This role will require PREVIOUS chart abstraction experience, strong grasp of medical terminology, understanding of QI processes, and billing knowledge. Prioritizing and processing information requests are two tasks performed daily. This requires using the information obtained from the requester, and comparing that information with corresponding medical records to ensure accuracy. Additional duties may include billing/collecting payment from a requestor, responding to payment delays, and verbal/written communication of payment methods or timelines.
This position will be a WORK-FROM-HOME opportunity, but only after completing initial training IN-OFFICE. This is all based on individual performance and grasp of the role, every person’s learning curve may vary.
Shift: Monday-Friday / 8-hour shift with full flexibility

Required Skills
What We Look For:
- 1+ year of RECENT experience in chart abstraction or HEDIS work from a managed care or third-party company
- Strong clinical/medical terminology
- High School Diploma or GED
