Certified Medical Coders (CPC-A)

Position Summary:
Are you a Certified Coder with an active CPC designation in the Ft Myers, FL area? Are you a newly-certified CPC-A seeking that first career opportunity and receive FULL TRAINING? Daily Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be receiving FULL TRAINING to excel within a large, in-office facility of coders. Qualified candidates will be performing time-sensitive coding of charts, release of information, reviewing transcription, and much more. Those with the CPC-A designation will receive full training to succeed; Experienced coders will be eligible for a GREAT increase in current/previous pay. All roles WILL BE permanent positions, assuming stellar attendance and successful completion of training. These positions are IN-OFFICE ONLY, remote coding will not be an option. **Priority will be given to those with prior experience, but new grads seeking that FIRST position using the CPC-A are highly encouraged to apply!**
Certifications NOT accepted at this time include:
- Medical Billing / Coding Diplomas
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist
- Associate Degrees in Billing/Coding
Hours for this Position: Monday-Friday / 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (Employer will be very flexible on the shift needed)

What We Look For:
- Current, active certification through AAPC (any designation of CPC will be considered)
- Fulltime availability to work in-office (No remote option will be given)
- Excellent computer skills with emphasis on use of Excel spreadsheets or specialty software
